As many of you might be aware of Darya’s activities, in 2005 Farhad Darya had a tour in Europe, Canada and the United States. He started first from his sold-out shows in the United States in January 2005, and successfully finished his tour in Europe and Canada. His last 2005 concert was previewed for December 31st, on New Year’s Eve, which took place in Los Angeles.

This concert did not end up the way Farhad and his fans wanted it due to the fact that some evil soul tried to harm Farhad Darya and he almost lost his life. He was hospitalized because of poisoning. Fortunately, the bad experience is over now and can continue with his life and hard work.

As you can read in his statement, he gave his word that after releasing his upcoming CD and DVD; he will give a new concert with a fresh voice and fresh songs in Los Angeles.

The statement below (in Dari & Pashto) was given by Farhad Darya himself.

We wish him good luck and we hope that all our beloved Afghans stop the unnecessary lies and rumours about the incident. I am confident we all agree to the fact that Darya and his family have suffered enough from the unfortunate incident. They deserve the peace of mind and we all have to respect that. After all, we want our Farhad Darya to spend his time writing his beautiful songs and release his new CD and DVD instead of thinking about something bad that happened to him. Let’s motivate and inspire our beloved Farhad!

In a large sense, we also hope that these sorts of actions can be prevented so our precious artists, such as Farhad Darya, can be respected for their hard work and efforts.



As shown below, Farhad Darya is also a big devotee of women and children in Afghanistan. He is supporting them through an organisation called “KUFA”. He has been collecting money for the needy women and children in Afghanistan during his recent tour in Europe. A great amount of money was collected.
